Trey Stross (Class of 2005)

Trey enjoyed an exceptional career at Avon Lake High School. As a wide receiver onALHS's 2003 state championship football team, his work ethic & dedication were rewarded by his selection as the Southwestern Conference MVP, Lorain county's Golden Helmet award and All Ohio first team. His versatility was highlighted when he won the Ohio State Division 1 high jump championship. For these accomplishments, Trey was named to both the football and track All American teams. Heavily recruited, Trey chose the University of Iowa to continue his athletic endeavors. As a Hawkeye, Trey was a four year starter at wide receiver plus was the Big Ten high jump champ. Following these successes, Trey was drafted by the National Football league's Houston Texans
