Mike achieved local, state & national recognition at ALHS in football & track. The Shoreman linebacker was the National High School Defensive Player of the Year and inducted into the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame who named him The Best High School Linebacker in the Nation. Accolades continued as Mike was twice All-Ohio & earned All-American honors. His success continued in track in both discus & shotput. He won the state championship, was All-Ohio for 3 years & All-American in the shotput. Complimenting these athletic achievements, Mike was also Scholar Athlete of the Year. As one of the most highly recruited players, Mike continued his football career at Ohio State as a linebacker & special teams player. Today, Mike is the owner of T3 Performance & lives in Avon Lake with his wife Aubin & two sons.
