Heather was chosen as Female Athlete of the Year in 1997 for her play in volleyball, basketball & softball. Playing volleyball for the Shoregals, Heather was All-SWC twice, Lorain County Player of the Year, team MVP & All-Ohio. As a four year varsity basketball player, she was All-SWC, All County plus Scholar Athlete. On the softball diamond, Heather again was recognized as an All-SWC & All County.
