Dennis exemplified the true meaning of student athlete during his career at Avon Lake High School and later at Youngstown State Unive~.~i.!y. Complimenting his athletic achievements was his induction into the ALHS National Honor Society.

Dennis was a devastating defensive player and still holds the record for fumble recoveries in a single game. Highlights of his accomplishments include two years first teams All-SWC and All-District plus District Defensive Player of the Year.

The pinnacle of his career was his selection to both first team All-Ohio and the Plain Dealer All Scholastic Football Team. Dennis continued his football career at YSU after being recruited by legendary coach Jim Tressel. As a Penguin, Dennis became a four year letterman and played in their national championship game.

Today Dennis is a CPA and partner at Corrigan Krause CPAs. He and his wife Sarah (Balint) reside in Avon with their three children Grady, i\ya & Sloane. The Avon Lake Sports Hall of Fame welcomes Dennis as a member of the Class of 2018.
