Sisters Christine (Chiricosta) Dieken ('07) and Nikki (Chiricosta) McFall ('10) are the first ever tennis state champions from Lorain County. They were a perfect 13-0 in their lone season together as a doubles team. Christine and Nikki did not lose a set on their way to the 2006 Division 1 Ohio State Doubles Championship. They also won Sectionals and Districts on their way to the state title. As individual players, Christine and Nikki combined for a perfect 122-0 record in the Southwestern Conference over their four year careers. Christine and Nikki went on to become the two winningest players in Bowling Green State University history, where they each earned Academic All-America honors, the only tennis players in BGSU history ever to receive such recognition. Both were recognized in their senior years with the Falcon Medal of Honor, which is the highest award given to one Bowling Green athlete each year.
