Craig Bradley

The Avon Lake boys basketball team was fortunate to have a sharpshooter like Craig Bradley on its roster. After earning second team All-Southwestern Conference and All-Lorain County his junior season, Bradley went on to rack up numerous awards his senior year, including Avon Lake's Most Outstanding Senior Male

Athlete and the team MVP. As a senior, Bradley earned first team AlI-S\VC, All-Lorain County, All-District and Special Mention All-State. He was voted the Lorain County Division II Player of the Year and awarded the prestigious Lorain County Mr. Basketball award. An all-star selection in both the Lorain County and Greater Cleveland All-Star Games, Bradley was awarded the Lorain County All-Star MVP. As a soccer player for the Shoremen, Bradley improved from a second team AII-SWC and AllGreater Cleveland pick to first team All-SWC and All-Greater Cleveland his senior year. He was voted the team's MVP and was selected to play in the Greater Cleveland All-Star Garne. Bradley, who was also awarded the United States Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete of the Year, went on to have a successful college career, playing basketball at Wooster, where he was a four-year starter. Winner of the "Golden Bear" award for leadership, courage and inspiration his sophomore year, Bradley was second in the country in 3-point shooting percentage (53.7) and served as a team captain his senior year, when he was named second-team all-conference.
