Opponents knew Brian was the Shoreman to stop during his playing years from 1998-2001. Despite their efforts, Brian set a career record for individual points scored of 1158 points. Included in this total was an additional seasonal record of 73 three point baskets. Both records still stand today. He remains in the top five in several other scoring categories. In recognition for these accomplishments, Brian was the team's 2 time MVP, All SWC and the Lorain County Player of the year in 2001. To balance his athletic achievements, he excelled academically and was named Lorain County Scholar Athlete.
