Avon Lake Sports Hall of Fame Announces the Class of 2026

Each year, the Avon Lake Sports Hall of Fame proudly honors a group of outstanding student-athletes who excelled in their chosen sports, and the Class of 2026 is one to celebrate!

Please join us in welcoming this year's inductees:

Andrea Nicholson McCabe - Andrea excelled in softball and was recognized as Southwestern Conference MVP and an All-Ohio selection.

Morgan Gougler Srail - A gifted and accomplished athlete, Morgan earned recognition in diving as a 4-time All-American and 2-time All-Ohio honoree. In track, she was the SWC champion in the pole vault and also earned two letters in soccer.

Mike Haddad - Football was Mike's game, and he excelled in every way, earning honors as SWC MVP and All-Ohio.

Nick Hamilton - Nick loved baseball, and it showed. Among his many accolades are SWC MVP, Lorain County MVP, and All-Ohio honors. He went on to play professionally in the Cleveland Indians organization.

Christian Pace - A standout Shoreman football player, Christian was recognized as Lorain County MVP Offensive Line and earned All-District, All-County, and ultimately All-Ohio honors.

These exceptional student-athletes will be inducted into the Avon Lake Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Parker's – The Parker Room, 32858 Walker Road, Avon Lake, Ohio. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 6:00 PM, followed by dinner at 7:00 PM and the induction ceremony at 8:00 PM.

The event is open to the public, and we encourage family, friends, teammates, coaches, and community members to join us for this special evening of celebration. A reservation form is available here
