1989 & 1990 GIRLS TRACK RELAY TEAMS
STATE QUALIFYING 4X400 & 4X800 RELAY TEAMS

A The Avon Lake girls track relay squads helped the Shoregals qualify to the state championships in 1989 and 1990 in two events.

The 1989 1600m relay squad of Chris Balas, Marla Langdon, Jennifer Saul and Laura West finished fourth in the state meet. The 1989 3200m relay team of Monica Andrews, Julie Hart, Saul and West finished fifth in state.

The 1990 1600m relay team (Amy Ahlfeld, Balas, Langdon and Saul) placed third in state. The 3200m relay team (Ahlfeld, Hart, Saul, West) finished fifth. Saul placed second in the 800 the same year.
