2005 ALHS Football Team
The Shoremen knew they had an up-hill battle. They lost 18 starters from the previous year's state runner-up. But they pulled together and learned the lessons of hard work and team unity. When the season ended, the Shoremen were SWC champs for the ninth time! They advanced to the regional finals. Seventeen players were SWC All-Conference, twelve All-District and seven All-Ohio. Their 12-1 record is the third best ever at ALHS.
