Kenneth K. Kisselle

Kenneth K. Kisselle is being recognized for his service to athletics and athletes in the Avon Lake and college communities. Ken was a member of the original “Senior Shoremen Club” that organized service projects and served as a supportive group to the high school program. He was instrumental in the building of the stadium press box, the refurbishing of the red caboose and many other projects of that nature. He has been a member of the “chain gang” since the early ‘70’s and has been a ready and willing volunteer at any time he was called upon in support of our athletic programs.

He spent much of his spare time assisting athletes in gaining the opportunity to play their sport at the college level. He was the annual M.C. at many of the athletic banquets and athletic fetes in the community, including the first Hall of Fame celebration. He was an officer in the Hall of Fame Committee, and one of the initial motivators behind the project. Active in many other community organizations and programs, Ken has always found time for his first love - athletics and kids.

Ken and his wife Gladys live in Avon Lake.
