Jennifer (Saul) Michaels

Voted the Most Outstanding Senior Female Athlete in 1991, Jennifer Saul excelled in track, swimming and cross country. A state swimming champion in the 50 free her junior year, Saul also placed fourth in the state her junior and senior years, earning All-Ohio her· final three years. A member of the All-District team, Saul was on the State Top to Award list her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. A regional qualifier all four years in track, Saul finished third in the state in the 800 her sophomore year and took second her junior season. She was also a state qualifier in the 4x800 and 4x400 relay for three years and was voted All-Ohio and team MVP her sophomore and junior years, as well as first-team AII-SWC her final three years. Leading the Shoregals to a state championship in cross country her sophomore year, Saul was a SWC first-team pick her first three seasons and a regional qualifier all four years. As a senior captain, Saul received a scholar athlete award and the K of C Scholar Award. Saul attended college at Texas A&M where she lettered and went to nationals all four years in track. An eight-time All-American in individual and relay events, Saul was the only female recognized as the NCAA Scholar Athlete of the Year her senior year.
