Jeannie Stuckey Lewis (CLASS OF 2001)

During her playing years at Avon Lake and Akron, Jeannie Stuckey Lewis was a champion both on and off the soccer field. On her way to achieving All-Ohio recognition at ALHS, Jeannie was recognized as All Greater Cleveland plus First Team All SWC and Lorain County. Accolades continued as she earned the SWC, LCSCA and Shoregal Soccer MVP awards. Her record for goals in a season still stands. This foundation of success propelled her to even more accomplishments at Akron University. As a true scholar athlete, Jeannie played soccer for three years while maintaining a 3.4 gpa studying mechanical engineering. As a Zip, she was a devastating scoring machine. She remains Akron's all-time leading scorer and holds numerous other records as well.

Today, Jeannie is employed as a consulting engineer and is the Practices Business Unit Director for the Equity Engineering Group in Shaker Heights. She is married to Steve and "enjoys being an active and busy working mother". Jeannie and Steve enjoy a variety of activities with their two sons, Tyler and Connor.
