Jack Brill, a team doctor for Avon Lake High School from 1968 to 1984, is being honored for his unselfish contribution to athletes and athletics in his community. He had been honored with a recognition dinner by the high school athletic staff and has received numerous honors including being named "Citizen of the Year" by the Lorain County Athletic Administrators Association. He had also received state congressional awards for his service in the community.
