The headline read "Winning title was a Breese" and it really was for Avon Lake's Jeff Breese. There was little doubt that in 1995 as his point total soared to 242 for the season and he claimed the area's individual scoring championship. As one can imagine, the accolades followed: First Team SWC, SWC MVP, All Lorain County and All District. At the state level, the Associated Press named Jeff to the All Ohio First Team as he set team records both in scoring and rushing. Jeff is currently recognized as tenth All Time - All Divisions in Points Scored per Season by the Ohio State High School Athletic Association.
