David Robison

David Robison, a 1955 graduate of Avon Lake High School, was a rare four sport athlete earning four varsity letters in football, and three each in baseball, basketball and track. He probably would have earned additional letters in baseball and track but health problems kept him out of action the spring of his junior year.

In football he was named All Lorain County for three years and scored 100 points his junior year, (16 touchdowns and four extra points). While in track as a senior he won the James Wood Memorial. He was granted an athletic scholarship to Heidelberg College and played varsity football and ran track for three years. A broken leg prevented him from playing a fourth season. During his career at Heidelberg, the football team won the Ohio conference championship once and finished in the top three the other years.

Dave graduated form Heidelberg College in June of 1959 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and in 1974 received an MBA from the University of Michigan.

In addition to his fine career as an athlete, Dave contributed as a little league football coach and also coached flag football while living in Holland.
